WTF major glitch!

in regular online i played SirLikalotapuss. I kick first. On opening play i kick he runs back to 20 and it "lags out" saying user has been disconnected. Well i have all my game stats emailed to me and it says he won by 3 with 5 seconds of possesion. wtf?!?! now quitters have a way to get wins too?
